Judy Seyfert earned her bachelor's degree from Concordia Teacher’s College, Seward, Nebraska. She went on to study art at Meremec Community College and Fontbonne University in St. Louis. Through the years, Judy has studied art with many nationally known artists. She has lived and worked in St. Louis, Missouri for 47 years.  Since 1997 she has been a full time artist working predominately in watercolor and mixed media.

 

 Judy has won awards in local and national shows.  She is a signature member of the Saint Louis Watercolor Society, Kentucky Watercolor Society and a member of Watercolor USA’s Honor Society. Judy is past president and co-founder of the Saint Louis Watercolor Society. She has served on the boards of the American Art Alliance, the Missouri Watercolor Society and the St. Louis Artists’ Guild. She conducts workshops locally as well as teaching watercolor at the Missouri Botanical Garden.
